Ariana Grande officially announced her new lead single, “hate that i made you love me,” set to be released on May 29 as the first single from her upcoming album, “petal.”
The singer shared the announcement through her social media alongside two official black-and-white covers for the track. The first image features an intimate close-up of Ariana with her eyes closed, surrounded by blurred flowers and soft lighting, creating a delicate and cinematic atmosphere. The second cover takes on a darker and more dramatic tone, showing Ariana staring directly into the camera while partially hidden behind her hair and shadows.
In the caption of the post, Ariana described the song as “one of my favorite songs i’ll ever write,” revealing that the track was produced by ILYA, Max Martin, and Ariana herself.
