R.E.M. BEAUTY LAUNCHES WICKED-INSPIRED COLLECTION WITH LIMITED-EDITION FRAGRANCES AND MAKEUP


Ariana Grande, in addition to bringing Glinda to life in the film Wicked, has expanded the world of her character through a special collaboration with her beauty brand, r.e.m. beauty. The collection features a line of makeup and fragrances inspired by the characters and the magical aesthetic of the world of Wicked.

The new collection, set to be available starting October 1, includes a range of nine products that blend colors, textures, and luminous effects, with strong references to the characters Glinda and Elphaba, as well as the fantastical setting of Oz.

Key Elements of the Collection

Character-Inspired Makeup Sets
There are two main sets: the Galinda Makeup Set and the Elphaba Makeup Set. Each includes liquid/metallic eyeshadows, eyeliner or pencils, blush, and lip products tailored to reflect each character’s style.

The collection goes beyond makeup. Ariana also revealed that fragrance will be a key part of the experience. A standout item is the Ozdust palette, featuring twelve shades: velvety mattes, shimmering metallics, duochromes, and bold colors such as deep greens and sparkling pinks.

  • pH-adaptive lip oil that changes color depending on the wearer
  • Glossy Balm
  • Glow Drops (Galinda Glow Drops)
  • Under-eye masks, among others

These products are designed to create a radiant, magical finish.

The collection closely mirrors the aesthetic of Wicked: For Good. Colors, shimmer, sparkling effects, and character-inspired names like “Wicked-ly Ozian” are heavily featured in promotional materials.

Ariana’s makeup as Glinda in the fil, created by the makeup team, including Frances Hanno, also incorporated r.e.m. beauty products. For example, the Interstellar Highlighter Topper in “Miss Mercury” was used to achieve a radiant, magical glow.
