ARIANA GRANDE WINS “SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR” AT THE 2025 SESAC L.A. MUSIC AWARDS!

Today, September 17, 2025, American singer and songwriter Ariana Grande was honored with the “Songwriter of the Year” award at the 2025 SESAC L.A. Music Awards in Los Angeles.

The artist was also awarded “Song of the Year” thanks to the international hit “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love),” one of the most defining tracks of her recent career.

During the same ceremony, Universal Music Publishing was named “Publisher of the Year,” a recognition partly attributed to their work in promoting Ariana Grande’s catalog.

This double win reinforces Ariana’s status not only as a globally recognized performer but also as a standout songwriter in the contemporary music landscape.
